Although Set Designer and Art Director F. Boke has only been a Burner since 2007, his passion for Burning Man is already legendary amongst all who know him. F was barely off the playa for the first time before he presented his initial idea to build a four story multi-purpose structure for Burning Man 2008 to his 2007 camp mates, Rand Pate and Todd Spero. That legendary sketch on a napkin would later be formalized into a design schematic that has since inspired an entire team of creative partners intent on bringing Mal-Mart to life at Burning Man 2008.

Shaun O'Sullivan

I'm a long term burning man fan, first time burner this year. So whatever I say about myself at this point is moot since I've basically been a burner In Utero for the past thirteen years. Look to my emergence from Black Rock City on Labor Day and see what I have to say about myself then.

2008 will be my sixth consecutive trip to Black Rock City, and Mal-Mart will be the culmination of all those years put together. It is the most ambitious project I've been a part of so far and the first to tie in so well with the event theme. I hope Rev. Billy stops by. We're having a fire sale.

I remember that year (2004?) when I still thought that BM was something from the past, and didn’t want to go… I was all like “this BM thing is so over” But I was wrong, soooo fucken wrong. Only whos been to BM can understand how wrong I was. And then this amazing friend of ours, Rand, gave me a ticket. It was a present. But I had no idea that that present would change my life, for ever…

He went as a naive young man and returns as a inspired, horny for more, ball of craziness for his next fix of the MAN! Side note: He is not responsible for his actions this time around.

Rich Williams

Although not a Burning Man newbe, Rich is really gearing up to bring light and sound to the playa for this upcoming burning man. Rich will be Solar powering up Mal-Mart with solar powered lights and chargers for your I-pods, a fun guy to hang with but not easy to keep up with... all night dancer and can be seen clubbing till dawn. Did I mention great kisser. Hahahaha see ya at Black Rock City!
